Finally, the sun breaks through the scarily cloudy heavens above. It joyfully brightens up this dreadful train I'm in. I guess now is a good start to start telling you about the 'october-project'. It all started about eight months ago in January. Me and a friend met up at Starbucks to discuss a shared point of interest. A trip to New York and DC. It would be an amazing two week stroll through what may possibly be the two most significant cities in American history. Except for the actual bookings we had everything settled. We had the money, I arranged my two weeks off of work, found the perfect flights and a great hotel in New Jersey.
Unfortunately, that's not how it turned out. Due to unforeseen circumstances my friend had to blow off the trip. This obviously opened new adventurous possibilities. Two full weeks off of work, which I fill in freely.
This Ladies and Gentlemen is the start of the October Project.
